Investing in communities
From day one, SportPesa embraced its responsibility to invest in our communities. To provide grassroots funding and sporting infrastructure. To bring the world’s biggest football clubs and tournaments to Sub-Saharan Africa to drive economic growth.
SportPesa has sponsored athletes and teams from across all levels of sports. While we are best known for our grassroots sponsorships, we have also sponsored some of the world’s biggest football clubs, including Arsenal and Everton, and helped bring them to Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.
In Africa, professional sports and athletes have been supported by SportPesa to become WBC Bantamweight Champion, to win the Kenyan Premier League and the SportPesa Super Cup.
More recently, SportPesa helped Shujaa return to the 7s World Series, helped renovate the National Stadium Tanzania and supported 100 grassroots football teams through our partnership with Cape Town FC.
