SportPesa Racing Point Esports Team Partnership

SportPesa and SpScore are proud to announce their partnership with SportPesa Racing Point Esports team as they compete in the F1 Esports Pro Series.

SportPesa’s Esports partnership is a natural extension of our successful title sponsorship of SportPesa Racing Point Formula 1 Team, and given the fast-paced evolution of Esports, it makes sense that SpScore, our new innovative live score app, should become supporting partner.  The app is designed to keep you up to date with all things sport and is fast becoming a must-have accessory for the discerning sports fan, available for download on iOS and Android now.

As the Esports competition enters its third year it’s more popular than ever, with 109,000 participants competing in this year’s qualifying events.

The 2019 SportPesa Racing Point F1 Esports Team features an exciting new driver lineup hoping to take every opportunity!

Having helped the team to secure P5 in last year’s championship, and hoping to build on his three podium finishes last season, 21-year-old Marcel Kiefer is racing with us for a second consecutive year.

He is joined by Italian Daniele Haddad following impressive performances in the AOR Sim Racing Series. The campaign lineup is completed by 2019 Draft Pick Lucas Blakeley.

The first event of the 2019 season will consist of three rounds, with drivers tackling the Bahrain International Circuit for the first time in the competition, in addition to the Shanghai International Circuit and Baku City Circuit – the latter of which saw the closest finish in the series to date in 2018, with less than a tenth of a second separating first and second place.

The first event of the 2019 F1 Esports Pro Series kicks off at 19:00 BST, Wednesday 11 September 2019 at the Gfinity Esports Arena in London, where the field will get their first taste of action en route to the season finale in December, where the 2019 Champion will claim a $500,000 jackpot.
